A homeopathic proving
God sleeps in the rock
Dreams in the plant
Awakens in the animal
And acts in the human.
(Native American proverb)
Lapis lazuli, the blue stone, is a symbol for the pure and the rare.
In ancient times, it was as precious as gold and its color pigments
were reserved for sacred motifs only. In Christian iconography, the
coat of Mary shines in the splendid blue of the rare stone, in Buddhist
tradition it is the color of the medicine Buddha.
A traditional connection exists between the semi precious stone and its
color and healing in its homeopathic and spiritual dimension.
This connection was the motive to triturate the stone and document the
effects of potentized Lapis on the participants of the homeopathic self-experimentation.
According to folk medicine, Lapis lazuli harmonizes the thyroid gland,
strengthens throat, larynx and vocal cords. It also lowers blood pressure
and is antispasmodic. The symptoms of the homeopathic proving also include
stiffness, trembling, sluggish gait, and acute heart attacks, as well as tinnitus,
vertigo, etc. Will homeopathically prepared Lapis lazuli be able to treat Parkinson’s
disease, heart disorders or other deep-seated ailments?
